POLICE are appealing for information following reports of a robbery in Moulton last night.
Officers were called to McColls in Whitlow Lane at 11.35pm yesterday, Wednesday.
Eyewitnesses say the men tried to make off with goods in a rubble sack, but were spooked by residents and escaped in a black car.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said enquiries remain ongoing, and asked anyone with information to contact Cheshire Police by calling 101 quoting IML 86123.
