FIREFIGHTERS from Northwich and Winsford tackled a garage fire in Davenham yesterday.
Crews were called to the large fire in London Road at 9.44am.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire Service said: "On arrival crews found a garage well alight.
"Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
"Crews then damped down the area and used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots."
A man suffering from smoke inhalation was handed into the care of paramedics.
Firefighters were at the scene for almost four hours.
