CHILDREN’S charity supporters are invited to scale the heights and put their pedal power to the test.

The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust has two frosty fundraising events in March. The Snowdon 2 Season walk takes place on March 17, followed by the Frosty Easter Chick Bike Ride on March 25, both raising funds for ill, disabled and disadvantaged children from the region.

The charity can organise transport from its Millington base, or you can make your own way there for the 8.30am start.

Each walker must make a minimum donation of £25, or £15 if arriving under their own steam. This will cover the cost of walking guides and snacks.

The charity organises the bike ride challenge with Altrincham-based cycling club The Timperley Boneshakers, and last year saw 80 cyclists of all ages and abilities join in.

Breakfast and a barbecue will be served. CAFT asks for a minimum £15 donation.
