A GROUP of nurses from St. Luke’s Hospice have gone the extra mile and raised almost £1,800 for the charity.
On Saturday February 24, a team of nurses from St Luke’s Hospice took part in the Rhyl 10 mile run, raising an incredible £1,789 for the Hospice.
They were joined by members of Davenham Running Club who offered encouragement and support during training sessions and on the day.
The ladies smashed their initial target of £1,000 before the event and they are now aiming to reach their new target of £2,000.
There is still time to sponsor the ladies and help them to achieve their target - please visit their JustGiving page (justgiving.com/julie-rarity) to donate
