A GROUP of paranormal investigators are giving residents in Northwich the chance to contact the spirit world this weekend.

Forgotten Era Investigations is made up of Emma Frith, David Hart, Lee Fletcher, Lee Cooper, Lesley Hudson and Mark Gillick.

Emma Frith, co-owner of the group, said: “We look forward to spending a night of ghost hunting with you, as we attempt to communicate with the lingering souls that may still reside inside the walls of the theatre.

“Don’t forget to bring along your cameras, camcorders and any other recording equipment as well because you never know you may catch something on film.”

The group will be hosting the charity event at Northwich Plaza on Saturday with guest medium Gary Fields.

The old cinema and bingo hall is renowned as a local focus for paranormal activity, attracting ghost hunters and mediums from across the country who are eager to experience the unusual atmosphere that surrounds the building.

The charity event is in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

The Benevolent Bingo Bonanza will start at 7pm, and the night will continue until 2.30am as ticket holders hunt for signs of the paranormal.

Prizes on offer include two tickets to any Derek Acorah UK tour date, a discount voucher for a Tatton photography studio session, bottles of prosecco and much more.

Tickets are still available and priced at £25 per person.
