A QUIRKY Northwich hair salon has celebrated its first anniversary.

House of Quirk opened in High Street in January 2017 by Tom and Rae Mann, who live in Wincham.

Tom said 2017 has been a year to remembers, with Rae making it through to the finals of the national competition, Trendvision.

The salon also raised £3,000 for various charities through its well-attended salon gigs.

Tom thanked everyone has supported the salon in 2017.

He said: “Everyone who comes through the door is great, the power of people through word of mouth and social media has really shocked us.

“Seeing our passion for hair translate into humans in chairs is a real kick.

“It’s great that Northwich has welcomed us because obviously there is always a level of uncertainty when you are choosing which Town to open in.”

To celebrate, Tom and Rae invited customers to pop into the salon for a glass of bubbly on January 31.

During the week leading up to its birthday Tom and Rae also entered all its customers into a free draw to win an Amazon Echo.

Tom, the former manager at Terence Paul hairdressers in Knutsford, plans to keep the momentum going in 2018.

He said: “For us 2018 will involve lots more competitions, gigs, photoshoots and a real push for us to reach full capacity potential which we are hoping for by Christmas.

"We are always looking for the right team members so we’re sure it won’t be long.”
