A RANGE Rover 4x4 was deliberately set on fire in Northwich on Saturday.
Firefighters were called to the car fire in Saxons Lane at 9.07pm.
When they arrived, firefighters found the car was ‘well alight’ and used a single hose reel and breathing apparatus to extinguish the flames.
A police investigation has now been launched into the cause of the fire.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire Service said: “It is believed to have been a deliberate ignition, so anyone with information is asked to call Cheshire police on 101, quoting incident 835 of 13 January 2018.”
