THREE have appeared in court in connection with a ‘serious’ assault on two men and two women outside of the Blue Barrel pub in Northwich.

Shortly after 10pm on Saturday, January 6, officers were called to reports of an incident outside the Blue Barrel public house on Chester Road, Castle.

Officers attended the scene and found that two men and two women had been seriously assaulted at the rear of the premises.

As a result of the incident the victims sustained a number of injuries, including a fractured collar bone and cuts and bruises to their faces.

Following enquiries Daniel Cook, 26; Andrew Sillman, 28 and Keith Sillman, 26, were all arrested and subsequently charged with a number of offences in relation to the incident.

Cook, from Clifton Drive, Northwich, has been charged with Section 18 assault with intent, affray, assault ABH and assault by beating.

Andrew Sillman, of Chapel Street, Northwich, has been charged with affray, assault ABH and assault by beating.

Keith Sillman, of Chapel Street, Northwich, has been charged with affray and assault ABH.

All three men appeared at West Cheshire Magistrates on Monday, January 8, where they were remanded in custody. The men are next set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday, February 5, 2018.
