CHRIST Church, Greenbank has announced this year’s Christmas services.

The church, which recently celebrated its 15th anniversary, meets in the old Station House at Greenbank rail station on Chester Road.

On December 17 at 10.30am there will be Nativity Service for all the family, with the opportunity for the young ones to dress up.

They can come in their favourite Nativity costume or just turn up and borrow one from the Church.

At 4.30pm the same day there will be annual ‘Carols by Fairylight’ service, with traditional carols and bible readings.

There will be a crèche for babies and groups for the children.

On Christmas Eve at 4.30pm the Church is holding a ‘Christingle’ Service. This is a chance for the whole family to light a Christingle candle and look forward to the big day.

On Christmas Day at 10.30am there will be an ‘All Age’ service when everyone is welcome to come and share the joy of Christmas Day with the whole family.

A Church spokesman said “We would like to invite everyone in the local community to come and join us as we celebrate Christmas this year.

“They may be assured of a very warm welcome.”
