Firefighters deal with Northwich house fire
FIREFIGHTERS have been on the scene of a serious fire on Whatcroft Lane, Davenham.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said:"There is no concern for the local community, but there is a reduced speed limit on Whatcroft Lane to allow crews to work on the scene safely."
Fire crews attended just before 6am to a fire at a bungalow, and fire investigation are on the scene to establish the cause of the fire.
Update at 11.45am - "Firefighters have extinguished the fire and are continuing to damp down at the scene. All road closures have now been lifted.
"No-one was in the property at the time of the fire and investigations are ongoing to establish the cause."
