Fire hits Winnington Village building site
TWO fire engines were sent out to tackle a fire at Winnington Village last night, November 7.
Crews from Northwich were called out to Walker Road at 10.12pm, after a fire had broken out from a diesel generator on a building site.
Firefighters, four wearing breathing apparatus, used two hose reel jets, a main jet and a covering jet to extinguish the fire.
The crews remained on the scene for an hour.
