POLICE have renewed calls for information regarding missing Northwich man, Michael Price, who was last seen six months ago.

The 40-year-old, known by family and friends as Micky, has been missing since Saturday, April 15

He was last seen that morning in the Shakespeare Close area of Rudheath and the adjacent rural area towards the Danefields estate.

Micky was reported missing by his partner, Claire Taylor, the next day.

Despite extensive searches, which has seen the police work closely with a number of support agencies, including the National Police Air Support unit, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service and the North West Underwater Search, Micky has still not been located.

Ch Insp Simon Meegan, from Northwich Local Policing Unit, said there have been ‘no significant developments’ since his disappearance. He said it is still being treated as a missing person enquiry.

“It is now six months since Michael Price was reported missing,” he said. “It remains an open investigation.

“We are still keen to hear from anyone who may have any information regarding his whereabouts, particularly anyone who may have reflected over that time and may have provided us information to contact us.

“We are still in contact with Michael’s family and will investigate any new lines of enquiry or new information.”
