FOUR men have been charged following an altercation in Northwich.
John McIntyre, 21, from Lovell Road, Speke; Michael Thomas Price, 21; Lovell Road, Speke; Jack Storey, 23; Lochryan Road, Liverpool and Dylan Swinnerton, 26, Lochryan Road, Liverpool, have all been charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon The charges relate to an incident that happened arrested on Wednesday, September 20.
Shortly after 6pm officers were called to reports of a disturbance outside St Helen’s Church in Church Road.
Officers attended the scene and found that there had been an altercation between two groups of men. There were no reports of any injuries.
After conducting a thorough search of the area officers stopped a Blue Audi and arrested four men on suspicion of affray.
Following questioning all four men have now been charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
They were all remanded in custody and are set to appeared at West Cheshire Magistrates today.
