BARNTON Football Club has secured a new sponsor for its senior team.
Taylor Wimpey, based in Manchester, has pledged its support to the club by paying for new kits for the forthcoming season.
Steve Lloyd, from Barnton FC, said: “We’re very grateful to Taylor Wimpey Manchester for its support. As a small club, we’re always looking to offer our players the benefits and advantages of bigger teams and professional-looking kits are a key part of this.
“We’re delighted with how well the shirts have turned out and have no doubt that they will make such a difference to the lads when they’re out on the pitch.
“On behalf of everyone at the club, I’d like to extend our thanks to the whole Taylor Wimpey team for its generosity.”
Chloe Dunn, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Manchester, said: “We understand the pivotal role that sports clubs, like Barnton FC, play within tight-knit communities and this is something we champion here at Taylor Wimpey.
“Our Winnington Village development is very close to the ground, so we’re looking forward to seeing our residents on the side lines, cheering the team on.”
