CHESHIRE Police have welcomed three new PCSOs.

PCSO Matt Johnson (pictured) will be covering Over and St Johns Estate in Winsford and PCSO Aimee Hough will be covering the Grange Estate, Winsford.

PCSO Nichola Devey will be working the Weaverham beat area.

Ins Dave Snasdell, from Northwich Local Policing Unit, said: “We have three new PCSOs starting which we have been eagerly waiting to replace others who have moved on to pastures new.

“In the next month they will be working in company with an experienced PCSO and beat officer then on their new areas.”

PCSOs were first introduced in September 2002 and are used by 43 territorial police forces in England and Wales and the British Transport Police.
