RESIDENTS in Northwich hosted summer street party to welcome new people to the neighbourhood.
More than 100 residents from Morris Homes’ Bridgewater Park development, in Winnington Avenue, turned out for a day of fun and games in Starkey Close over the weekend.
Guests enjoyed face painters, balloon modellers, ice cream and a barbecue from Hornbrey’s butchers in Northwich town centre.
The party was organised by Kelly Heaton, Rachael Foster and Kate Chubb, who all own homes in the development.
Kelly said the party was a ‘hit’.
She said: “We did a similar party last year so everyone could get to know each other with the houses being new, and this year there are so many other new residents we thought we would make it an annual thing.”
