A WARNING has been issued to residents in Northwich to be on the lookout for cold callers claiming to be representing a mobility supply specialist.
Ableworld says it has issued the warning after reports, further afield, of people posing as members of staff
Ableworld marketing assistant Rhian Robinson told the Guardian: “We have taken the step of issuing this warning to make them aware that in other areas of the country we have received reports of people cold calling saying they are from Ableworld and trying to arrange home visits.
“We have not had them in Cheshire but we are trying to get the word out there.”
“We would like to reassure people that we do not cold call our customers.”
The company says anyone who arranges for Ableworld to visit their home for a demonstration or delivery of an item, should ensure they ask for identification.
