ARSONISTS set fire to a caravan in Winsford again last night.

It is now the fourth time a caravan has been set on fire in Winsford in the past six weeks.

Firefighters were first called out to Bradbury Road in Wharton at 10.09pm where a bin had been set on fire.

The put the fire out with a hose reel jet, but was then called back two hours later to a bigger fire in the same road.

This time, firefighters from Winsford and Northwich attended.

A spokesman for Cheshire Fire Service said: “Firefighters were called to extinguish a caravan which is believed to have been deliberately set on fire in Winsford. The crew used two hose reels to put the flames out.

“A thermal imaging camera was also used to check the area and police were requested to attend.

“If anyone knows anything about this fire and who may have started it then call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
