THE former Emperor’s Court site in Manchester Road has been demolished to make way for a 24-hour McDonald’s.

Plans to build a restaurant on the site were approved in March.

The opening will form part of the fast food chain’s ‘major brand refresh’.

The fast food giant has identified Northwich as a key focus for development in the east of the borough.

The development will create a mixture of around 65 full time and part-time jobs.

McDonald’s said it will deploy daily litter patrols and said antisocial behaviour will be kept to an ‘absolute minimum’.
