TWO folk veterans will perform in Northwich this Friday.
Northwich Folk Club welcome Tom Browne and Ian Goodier as their guests for the concert at Harlequin Theatre Bar in Queen Street.
Tom and Ian have been performing together on the local folk scene for nearly 20 years, and have proved popular with Northwich Folk Club.
Pete Thompson, from Northwich Folk Club, said: “Tom's songs are drawn from diverse sources including Northumberland, both traditional and contemporary.
“Ian's musical history starts some 50 plus years ago playing in brass bands before taking up the English Concertina in the early 1970s.
“Ian's music is largely based on dance music, slow airs and various transgressions into the unexpected.”
Supporting Tom and Ian is Ian Jesse Ian, a multi-instrumentalist and singer.
The host for the evening is Brenda Yates. Doors will open at 8pm for an 8.30pm start.
Tickets cost £6 or £5 for members and can be bought on the door on the night or by visiting danarts.co.uk
