Police target speeders in Weaverham and catch 47
NORTHWICH Police have been targeting speeders in Weaverham this week, catching 47 drivers over two days.
Acting on reports from the public, police targeted Sandy Lane on Wednesday, July 12, and caught 37 drivers going over the 30mph speed limit, before moving to Station Road and catching a further four speeding drivers.
Officers also pointed their speed gun at drivers in Northwich Road for an hour and 20 minutes on Thursday, July 13, and caught six breaking the 30mph speed limit.
