PETROLHEADS are in for a treat next month when a vintage car show comes to Sandiway.
The event will take place at Blakemere Village on Saturday, August 12 and Sunday, August 13.
It is being hosted by South Cheshire Moggies, the local branch of the Morris Minor Owners Club.
Anthony Morrey, Branch chairman, said he is expecting more than 150 Morris Minors, plus a variety of other vintage models to assemble over the weekend.
Star of TV’s Car S.O.S. Fuzz Townshend is the rally’s special guest on Sunday, and he will be presenting awards to the category winners at 3pm.
The rally opens at 10am each day until 4pm. The attractions of Blakemere Village are also available all weekend.
This is a family event, which is open and free to the public and visitors are encouraged to share the pleasures of classic cars with their proud owners.
