A NEW bus service will run through Moulton and Davenham.
The X29 ‘Nightlife Express’ Arriva bus service, which runs from Northwich to Over St Johns through Winsford, will now be amended to include the two villages.
The route change will start on August 4 and will operate on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Allan Aston, chair of Moulton Parish Council, said: “When the service commenced in April we were a little disappointed that when it left Winsford it went straight through to Leftwich and missed out both Moulton and Davenham.
“But with the amendment we hope that village residents will support the service and the increasing leisure activities available in Northwich.”
First launched in April, the service will allow village residents to visit the Odeon Cinema and restaurants at the Barons Quay development.
Cllr Helen Weltman, Cheshire West and Chester ward member for Davenham and Moulton, said: “I’m delighted the bus will now be stopping in Davenham and Moulton.
“I hope people will use it and enjoy the new facilities in town.”
