ROBERTS Bakery is to support The Royal Cheshire County Show for the 12th consecutive year.

The family-owned, Rudheath-based bakery has renewed its Principal Partnership deal of the show with the sponsorship of the Roberts Bakery Food Halls.

Comprising two marquees, the Food Halls will this year be relocated to the Countryside Live area of the 300-acre showground at Tabley.

It’s here in the Roberts Bakery Food Halls that the Roberts Bakery Food Live Theatre will provide the backdrop for a host of celebrity chefs to show their skills.

Topping this year’s line-up is the 5 AA Rosette and Michelin award-winning Jean-Christophe Novelli.

Our nation's ‘favourite French Chef’ will be joined by Bake Off 2014 finalist Luis Troyano and award-winning cheesemaker, chef, TV presenter and former Coronation Street star Sean Wilson.

Brian Mellor – award-winning Master Chef of Great Britain and owner of Harthill Cookery School near Tattenhall – completes the bill.

They will be joined by local chefs, students and companies who will also take to the stage to showcase their skills.

The Roberts Bakery Baking Education Stand will also be located in the Food Halls.

Here showgoers will have the opportunity to learn more about bread and baking from past-show Patroness Karol Roberts.

Joining Roberts Bakery will be The Little Treats Bakery - also part of the Frank Roberts and Sons Ltd group - which will showcasing its range of sweet treats.

Visitors will also have the chance to decorate their own biscuits on the stand.

Mike Roberts, the deputy chairman of Roberts Bakery, said: “We are committed to supporting many community events and environmental and educational programmes across the north west.

“Cheshire is very much our heartland and we are delighted to enjoy such a prominent role at such a popular county occasion.”
