WITTON Albion will be tested by higher-ranked opposition in a friendly before they return to the Northern Premier League’s top-flight.
Carl Macauley’s men take on Chester, who they took to a replay during an FA Trophy first-round encounter last season, and Barrow at Wincham Park.
Both clubs play again in the National League next season.
Premier League club Burnley have agreed to send their Development side for a warm-up game next month, while Welsh Premier outfit Rhyl are due in town later the same week.
As it stands, Albion will complete their preparation for a return to the Premier Division with a trip to Droylsden.
They start at Runcorn Linnets.
The players return for pre-season training in the first week of July.
