GILLIAN Poole is seeking support for a garden party she is organising in aid of the SSAFA, the Armed Forces Charity.
Gillian lives at 300 London Road, Northwich, where the fundraiser is being held on Saturday, June 10, from midday to 6pm.
“I'm holding a garden party for the SSAFA Big Brew Up campaign, and all proceeds from the day will be going to help armed forces families in need,” said Gillian.
“I have a couple of local companies sponsoring us in the way of providing food and drink to be sold at the event.
“We have a bouncy castle and activities for little children to enjoy while the parents enjoy a cuppa, and we're hoping to get more local businesses advertising and selling goods on the day and make it a proper community day.
“We have Queens Own Yeomanry providing the equipment for the day, and hopefully the local ACF detachment working on their cadet in the community badges by helping to raise money on the day.”
