A PROTESTER has been on the roof of former Conservative Crewe MP Ed Timpson’s house in Tarporley for more than two days.

Police have confirmed that a small number of protesters gathered at the address on Saturday morning, where the Crewe candidate lives.

Two of the protesters climbed on top of Mr Timpson’s house, one has since come down and one man is still there, having been on the roof for more than 53 hours.

Mr Timpson is currently Minister of State for vulnerable children and families and it is understood that the protests are in relation to a forced adoption.
