KERRY Hartnett continued a dream start to the new season when she scored second successive century for Oakmere on Sunday.
She contributed 101, after finishing unbeaten on 102 during an opening day success against champions Chester Boughton Hall in the Cheshire Women’s League, to their total of 173 against Stockport Trinity.
Sophie Connor (40) provided support, while Emma Royle (2-19), Jennie Kitzinger (2-19) and Gillian Spragg (2-47) claimed two wickets apiece for the visitors to Overdale Lane.
Only one player in the competition’s history has amassed a ton in three successive matches – Oakmere’s Shami Ahmed.
Trinity fell 42 runs short at 131-6 in reply, meaning a half-century for Kitzinger (63no) was in vain.
Dawn Prestidge took 2-18 for the hosts.
They visit Appleton on Sunday.
