AN energy switching scheme is now taking registrations for the latest round.
The ‘Ready to Switch’ scheme is available for both credit and prepayment meters.
It is free to register and there is no obligation to switch suppliers if the tariff offered isn’t cheaper your current one.
Cllr Karen Shore, Cheshire West and Chester Council cabinet member for environment said: “As we look forward to warmer summer months, energy bills may be the last thing on many peoples’ minds.
“But if you haven’t switched supplier for a while, now is actually a great time to see if you can reduce the cost of your energy, as more suppliers are reporting price increases.
“The Ready to Switch scheme has been an enormous success so far, with hundreds of households in west Cheshire benefiting from lower energy bills.”
To register visit cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk/readytoswitch or call 01244 977262, before midnight on Monday, May 22.
All registrants will receive a personal offer by email or letter from June 5, and if you do decide to switch the whole process will be taken care of on your behalf.
