A 17-YEAR-OLD boy was arrested after police found cannabis at a house in Drillfield Road during a drugs raid.

Police carried out a drugs search warrant at the property on the afternoon of Thursday, April 13, and found a quantity of cannabis.

A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “A quantity of cannabis was recovered. The occupant was not present at the time.

“On Thursday, April 20, the resident, a 17-year-old local youth, was arrested for possession with intent to supply cannabis and has been released under investigation under the new bail act.”
