POLICE have warned residents in the Rudheath area to ‘target harden’ their homes after an increase of shed burglaries.
According to Northwich Police, there has been a spike in sheds being targeted in Rudheath in the past couple of weeks and there have been several incidents of bicycles being stolen.
Insp Dave Snasdell said: “During the past couple of weeks we have had an increase in theft of pedal cycles and sheds being targeted in the Rudheath area.
“Can I remind all residents to target harden your property to make it as difficult as possible for thieves to steal your valued possessions.”
One incident was of a white and blue Boardman bike being stolen from an address in Binney Road in the early hours of Saturday, April 15.
