‘VIKINGS’ Colin Mann and Phil Robinson are inviting children to make some brooches and jewellery from the era.
Colin and Phil are education assistants at Weaver Hall Museum, which will be transforming one of its room into a Viking roundhouse next week.
Children will be able to make Viking brooches and jewellery at the roundhouse from copper foil to take home, under the guidance of Colin and Phil.
The event runs from 10am to 4pm on February 22 and 23, and the cost is £1.50 per child.
The brooch-making activity is aimed at the four to 12 age group, and children need to be accompanied by an adult.
For more details call the museum on 01606 271640.
