HAVING survived another Christmas, Priscilla the Goose, along with her family, have arrived in Antrobus and are set to entertain everyone.

The Antrobus Players will be performing the family pantomime Mother Goose from January 27 to 29.

It tells the tale of a poor family, whose pet goose, Pricilla, magically starts laying golden eggs.

Local gentry wants this wealth for themselves and send the bailiffs in pursuit of the goose.

There are frolics, dance and song, a baddie and a goodie and plenty of audience participation.

Without giving the game away there’s bound to be a happy ending to keep everyone smiling. Cast members come from Antrobus and surrounding villages in the Northwich, Warrington and Lymm area.

It’s a true community event, with proceeds supporting Leukaemia Research and village facilities.

The family pantomime is suitable for all ages, and Antrobus Village Hall will be transformed into a theatre on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, January 27 to 29.

Friday and Saturday performances are at 7.30pm and the Sunday show is a matinee at 2.30pm. Tickets are £5 for children, £9 for adults or £25 for a family of four.
