A TEAM of jolly volunteers from Roberts Bakery helped to sprinkle a little Christmas magic on the yuletide celebrations at the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT).
Kieran Hewson, Jake Woodhouse, Sam Jones, Dennis Langwine, Richard Grainger and Peter Butterworth from the Rudheath-based family bakery captivated a group of children with complex disabilities at their CAFT Christmas party.
Roberts Bakery donates bread to the Millington-based charity all through the year, and has provided hundreds of extra loaves, bread rolls and Christmas-themed gingerbread biscuits for the party season.
More than 800 children from the north west will be treated to a magical Christmas party at CAFT this month.
Alistair Laing, charity fundraising manager at CAFT, said: “These Christmas parties are really special for the children, but we couldn’t host them without the support of companies like Roberts Bakery.
“Roberts is a long-standing supporter of CAFT and this year we were delighted to involve some of the team in helping to create an unforgettable party experience for the children.”
The party was the perfect round-off to a year in which Roberts Bakery has given 195 volunteered days to the community.
