NORTHWICH Mayor Councillor Kevin Rimmer performed a planting ceremony at a new care home in Lostock Gralam.

Lostock Lodge is located at Cheshire Business Park, and will house 66 residents and create more than 70 jobs for local people.

It officially opens its doors on January 13 for a public open day.

Spread over three floors, Lostock Lodge will be registered to provide personalised residential and dementia care.

The home will boast 66 en-suite bedrooms, a hair salon, café/bistro, shop, cinema room and numerous lounges and communal areas.

The home has been built by Country Court Care, which has homes in South Yorkshire, Somerset, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and London.

Managing director of Country Court Care, Alykhan Kachra, said: “Families and residents are at the heart of everything we do.

“Lostock Lodge will offer residents beautiful surroundings with the reassurance of outstanding personalised care by our team.”
