WHALEBONE will be looking to make a splash in Cuddington and Sandiway this month.

The acclaimed folk band will perform at to Cuddington and Sandiway Village Hall on Saturday, October 29 as part of their 2016 ‘Seasons’ tour.

The acoustic trio’s show features high energy acoustic music alongside haunting atmospheric tunes.

The group, who have won several awards internationally for their music, have a passionate belief in bringing their shows to intimate community venues.

“We love the phenomenon of playing live” says Whalebone lead guitarist, Steve Downs.

“Live music is not for everyone. It’s not for those who want it the same every time. It’s not for those who want it like the record.

“It’s for those who embrace the uncertainty and uniqueness of a live performance, for those who know that, when live music is good, sparks fly.”

The show includes fresh interpretations of traditional music, rock classics and original material spanning their ten-year career.

It will also feature new material together with tall tales, folklore and the myths which inspired the music.

The show features a variety of instruments including a five-string violin and an eight-string baritone guitar.

Tickets cost £8 and are available by calling 01606 883128 or 01606 888931.
