YOUNGSTERS can sing along to all of their favourite tunes from Disney’s hit film Frozen at a live show in Davenham this month.

The Snow Storm Sisters, professionally trained singers and actresses, will bring The Big Freeze and The Snow Ball to the Davenham Royal British Legion on Saturday, October 29, from 2pm.

The show reproduces all of the hits from the 2013 film, including the number one single, 'Let it go'.

Jill Bolton, social committee member for the Davenham Royal British Legion, said: “We’re hoping we can get all of the kids singing, and they should have a nice disco.

“Hopefully it will start half term off right for them. The kids should enjoy it."

As well as all the hit songs, there will be a Frozen-themed tea party.

There will also be photo opportunities with the two princesses.

“They’re also bring a snow machine for the children’s disco,” Jill said. The kids love Frozen so hopefully we can get all of the children singing along.”

It’s not the first time the Snow Storm sisters have performed at the Davenham RBL.

“They did an Abba tribute at the Legion in May so we thought we’d bring them back.

“They’re also coming back to do a remembrance night, a swing an d boogie night,” Jill said.

Young ones will be well fed at the party, with a range of food on offer including jelly and ice cream, ice gems, sausage rolls and more.

Jill, who has been involved in the legion for around five years, is hoping the community support the event so they can continue to welcome future generations to the legion.

She said: “We’re just trying to keep the legion open. We’re also looking to improve.

“It is members that support most of the things we do, but we’re trying to open it to more people. We want to get more members.”

For tickets to The Big Freeze and The Snow Ball cost £10. The adults show cost £5.
