GLAMOROUS fashionistas strutted their stuff on the catwalk in aid of a children’s cancer charity.

The second White Ribbon Boutique charity fashion show took place on Thursday, October 6, at Northwich Memorial Court and raised £1,443 for The Joshua Tree.

More than 200 people attended the sell-out women-only event and were treated to live music from 17-year-old singer and Northwich X-Factor finalist, Olivia Riley.

This was followed by a catwalk autumn season fashion show from staff and models from Northwich boutique, White Ribbon.

Nicola Garside from White Ribbon said: “This is the second charity fashion show event we have held with The Joshua Tree and we were overwhelmed by how quickly the tickets sold out.

“We know that this will now become a popular annual event for our ladies.

“It’s a great way to showcase other fashion and beauty businesses available on our doorstep in Northwich and raise money for a worthy local cause too.”

The Joshua Tree, which is based in Northwich, supports families across the north west living with the life-changing experience of childhood cancer.

The charity was established in 2006 after the founders’ son, Joshua Hill was diagnosed with leukemia.
