CHILDREN’S nursery leaders are celebrating an ‘outstanding’ rating for the nursery from Ofsted inspectors.
The Ofsted team visited Chrysalis Day Nursery on August 11, and awarded it the top rating in all areas.
The nursery is situated at Gadbrook Business Park, and also earned ‘outstanding’ ratings in all categories for its previous inspection in 2011.
Last month’s inspection looked at the effectiveness of the leadership and management, the quality of teaching, learning and assessment, personal development, behaviour and welfare and outcomes for children.
“At Chrysalis Day Nursery we have an excellent team, and we endeavour to provide a service every day that is of the highest standard and quality,” said nursery manager Yvonne Hardcastle.
“Last week was no exception - we had a week dedicated to cardboard - castles, robots, light boxes, trains and weaving with cardboard.
“The list has been endless, and the children had an amazing time.”
The day nursery caters for 100 children aged up to five.
