MID Cheshire College is celebrating a major improvement in its GCSE English performance.
Kate Williams from the college said: “We are particularly delighted that our English GCSE grades are up 25 per cent on last year, with 70 per cent of the learners achieving A* to C results.
“GCSE science results have also been strong, with 68 per cent achieving A* to C, and overall 52.26 per cent of students studying GCSEs after failing at school have achieved A to C grades.
“Our culture of change and growth has focused on supporting our students to achieve, to be confident and to stretch themselves.
“These results are a testimony to their hard work and there is no greater reward than handing over such positive results. We wish them luck with their next steps.”
