CARE home residents enjoyed a surprise chat with celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott when they visited the Lion Salt Works Museum.
The residents from Daneside Court Care Home in Northwich were visiting at the same time as Ainsley was being interviewed by a film crew in connection with a Lottery award for the museum.
Care home manager Jo Farrell said: “The residents had a wonderful trip out, which was made even more memorable by the fact they were able to meet and have photos taken with Ainsley.
“Ainsley was happy to pose with the residents, who were delighted to chat with him and have their photographs taken. Their smiles say it all.
“The group ended their trip with coffee and biscuits before heading back to share their experience of meeting Ainsley.”
During the visit the residents made their own traditional canal art.
