DURING June and July more than 500 students from local schools, colleges and charities have visited Barclays at Gadbrook Park for educational LifeSkills and Code Playground sessions.
Barclays has been working with young people to support them with its employability programme, which enables volunteers to work with students from the age of seven to 25.
Students have been through a number of sessions including computer coding, CV writing, confidence-building workshops and budgeting.
Another programme being offered focuses on online safety. The Cyber Cadets Workshops are aimed at children and adults, providing practical advice on how to protect ourselves online, including cyber bullying, online scams, chat rooms etc.
If you are interested in booking yourself or a student you know onto one of these workshops, please contact BBCCSupport.andWellbeing@barclayscorp.com.
