Police appeal for witnesses following fatal crash on A556
A CYCLIST has been killed in a collision with a HGV on the A556 at Plumley.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the fatal incident on Wednesday, July 13 at around 4.30pm on the carriageway between Northwich and Knutsford.
The cyclist, who is believed to be a local man, was pronounced dead at the scene. He has not been formally identified.
Cheshire Police, Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service and North West Ambulance Service attended the incident.
Anyone with any information in relation to the incident should contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 616 13/7/2016. Information can also be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
