PEOPLE are being urged to sign up for the third Northwich Teenage Market of the year.

The market returns to town in just over two weeks, and is shaping up to be another excellent day.

It takes place on Saturday, July 9 and runs from 10am to 4pm on the High Street between McDonalds and the Bull Ring.

It will once again provide the perfect platform for youngsters to trade and perform, allowing them to get their names and products out there.

Visitors to Northwich on the day will be able to browse a series of stalls packed with handmade items including furniture, jewellery, traditional arts and crafts and cakes.

It’s ideal if you’re on the lookout for a bespoke gift for a friend, family member or loved one and you will be supporting entrepreneurial youngsters at the same time.

On top of this, there will be a musical soundtrack to the day thanks to the Amplify Youth Music Project who are presenting ‘Paint the Town Red’.

The two performance areas, outside Pound Bakery and McDonalds, will be rocking throughout the day as talented young musicians sing, perform and get the toes of passers-by tapping.

You can find out more about this by visiting Amplify’s Official Facebook page.

Northwich BID Officer Mark Henshaw is looking forward to the event, and is urging people to spread the message about the market to encourage even more people to sign up.

“I’ve attended all of the Northwich Teenage Markets since the initiative’s inception last year and I can’t stress enough how big of an opportunity it is,” he said.

“You can test your products on different audiences, share and discuss ideas with like-minded people and gain vital experience – if you know anyone that the Teenage Market would be perfect for please let them know about the event, it could act as a stepping stone and create countless opportunities.”

People can sign up to the Northwich Teenage Market on the Official Event Page.
