A SUMMER gala ball and auction will be held in aid of a Northwich children’s charity next month.

The fundraising event will be held at The Park Royal Hotel in Stretton on Friday, June 17, and will look to raise money for The Joshua Tree.

The Northwich-based charity currently supports around 60 families in Cheshire affected by childhood cancer.

It was established in 2006 after the founders’ son, Joshua Hill was diagnosed with leukaemia.

His parents Lynda and David set up the charity to make sure that other families affected by childhood cancer were able to access support and share their experiences in their community.

At next month’s summer gala, a charity auction will be held by Rachel Dickinson from Auctioneers Wright Marshall in Knutsford.

Prizes include one week in a luxury villa in Rhodes, a polo experience day, tickets to Chester races and a private cocktail party in your own home.

The Gala Ball is being supported by members of The Park Royal Hotel and Health Suite and tickets cost £25 for members, £35 for non-members.

Tickets include a welcome drink, three-course meal and entertainment from singer Ryan Grant.

Tickets can be purchased at The Park Royal Health Spa, Stretton, Warrington.

They can also be purchased online via thejoshuatree.org.uk/events
