CRANSLEY School pupil Isabella Wong had 13 inches cut off her hair for a charity which supports young cancer patients.

The year seven pupil was inspired to raise money for the Little Princess Trust by one of her favourite YouTube stars, ‘Sqaishey’.

She donated her hair to the charity, littleprincess.org.uk, which provide wigs and hair pieces for children who suffer hair loss due to cancer treatment.

Isabella’s mum, Helen, who is a home hairdressing specialist in the Runcorn area, said: “She couldn't wait to go into school and tell everyone, and show off her new haircut.

“Up until then she had only ever let me trim her hair, so it was a huge surprise, and we are very proud of her.”

Headteacher, Simon Leyshon, said: “What a wonderful thing she has done, and we are all very proud of her here at Cransley.”
