LEADING spiritualist medium Stephen Holbrook will be staging an evening of clairvoyance at Wincham next month.

The former hairdresser is appearing at the Wincham Hall Hotel on Hall Lane, Wincham, on Tuesday, June 7.

Stephen visits theatres and hotels around the country, and the Wincham evening starts at 7.30pm, with doors opening at 7pm.

He said he was always aware from being a child that life existed beyond the grave after being awoken to find five soldiers marching through his bedroom, but could see only the top half of them floating through the room.

“This was a very unnerving experience, but it was to give me an early glimpse of what was to come, and now it’s as natural as breathing to me,” he said.

Stephen said he gives messages of reassurance to people who have lost their loved ones, and by communicating with them helps them to understand that life continues, just in a different dimension.

Stephen has three books out, Light in the Darkness, Out of this World and Survival, which offer an insight into the day-to-day life of a working medium.

He has raised tens of thousands of pounds for charities over the years, £50,000 for his local hospice in Wakefield, £5,000 for MacMillan Support, and most recently for PACT, a charity which helps terminally-ill children and their parents across the country, with the fundraising total standing at almost £21,000.
