CLEANING and maintenance contract business Form Communal has won 2016 Best Business Awards in the Best Customer Focus and Best Innovation categories.

Independent expert judges chose winners according to strict criteria, and described the company’s commitment to moving the business forward as a real strength.

They said: “Owner Nick Mould spotted a gap in the market about 10 years ago, and by focusing on service and innovation has created a highly successful business.

“The company has embraced technology and has even developed an app for staff and residents, which save time and money.

“Form Communal has taken property maintenance and repairs into the 21st century and given it a fresh new image. Congratulations to Form Communal for turning property maintenance into a profession.”

Form Communal is based at Cosgrove Business Park at Anderton, and when owner Nick Mould was a property manager he found contractor standards hit and miss.

At Form Communal he put in place a strong team of in-house engineers, gardeners, cleaners, window cleaners, a fleet of vans and dedicated customer team.

He said: “One of the things that sets us apart from the competition is our one-stop approach. One central customer service team talk to clients, residents and staff to ensure a seamless transition. Using a mobile app gets information straight to the right person quickly.”

The Best Business Awards are one of the UK’s highest profile awards, and attract entries from large international PLCs to dynamic and innovative small businesses.
