HOLIDAY inspiration is being offered to families by a Northwich museum taking its visitors back to a Victorian childhood and a medieval plague.
Weaver Hall Museum and Workhouse, in London Road, is holding a series of holiday activities on April 6 and 7 and on April 13 and 14.
On April 6 and 7 visitors can make whirley whizzers and balancing clowns, inspired by Victorian toys, any time between 10am and 4pm.
Admission is £1.50 per child.
The following week, April 13 and 14, the museum is holding medieval Black Death workshops, giving children chance to discover old remedies and adopt a fluffy rat to take home.
This is also a drop-in session from 10am to 4pm and admission is £1.50.
