A MUM from Crowton is setting an entrepreneurial trend after winning a hat-trick of business awards.

Victoria Molyneux founded online fashion retailer Want That Trend in April 2015 and has won three accolades in three separate ceremonies this month.

She said: "We’ve done all this at the same time as having a baby.

"Want That Trend started because I could never afford high end clothing.

"I thought if I’m like that, how many other women in the world are in the same situation as me.

"Most of the clothing industry is run by men, so I tried to design clothing that flatters and hides a mummy tummy and all of the other things that women are insecure about, and here we are today."

The innovative Cheshire business took home The Young Entrepreneur of the Year accolade at The High Sheriff’s Awards, Health, Beauty, Retail and Fashion Campaign of the Year alongside retained communications agency Rule 5 at the PRmoment Awards, and by Best Newcomer at the North West Business Masters Awards.

Borne out of a personal love for fashion and a desire to build her own business, Victoria harnessed the potential of Facebook as a marketing platform and the rise of the ‘selfie’ to create Want That Trend.

Just 11 months later the business, which has a team of 18 based at the company’s headquarters in Reddish, has proven to be a resounding success, generating more than 200,000 orders, reaching a turnover of almost £7 million and attracting a community of more than one million Facebook fans so far.

Want That Trend has signed its first celebrity partnership, to be announced in due course, and is investing in a manufacturing business.
